Hvidovre Hospital in Denmark wins European Energy Service Award in the category "Best Energy Service Project"
Energy Performance Contacting Project at Hvidovre Hospital, Denmark: In cooperation with Siemens, eight buildings were equipped with a central building management system, the lighting was renewed, an energy management system was implemented, photovoltaic and wind power plants were installed as well as wide-ranging measures in the field of air-conditioning and ventilation were implemented. Thus, the Danish hospital achieved not only savings of around 23 per cent in electricity and 41 per cent in heat but also more than 4.000 tons CO2.
